THE DESIGN DIFFERENCE

The addition of DLE 135 along the trailing edge minimizes canopy stretch for consistent, long-term performance. The Fuse is Slingshot’s all-new wave kite, designed from the ground up to redefine wave performance. Tested and approved by wave legend Ben Wilson in the perfect surf of Namotu, Fiji, the Fuse delivers unmatched drift, superior upwind ability, and effortless depower. Whether carving the face off of Cloudbreak or cruising a downwinder in La Ventana, Baja, the Fuse excels in every condition, offering the smoothest ride and the ultimate control.

FrameLITE

Utilized throughout the Fuse V1 airframe, this high-tenacity polyester features biaxial gridding and extensive emulsion coating, eliminating stretch in all directions to deliver superior response and handling in all conditions. The stiffness of FrameLITE’s unique weave structure significantly reduces elongation of the airframe and increases multi-season durability. At 160 grams per square meter, FrameLITE uncompromisingly offers the optimum balance of flex, strength, stiffness, and weight.

DLE 135 Trailing Edge

Reinforces the canopy along the trailing edge to reduce stretch and maintain optimal performance over time.

Deep Drift Bridle

The Deep Drift Bridle is a 4-point system strategically positioned further inside the leading edge. This optimized placement enhances drift and stability, keeping the kite floating precisely where you need it while you focus on carving down the line.

Compact Wing Tip

The Compact Wing Tip Design enhances turning speed, responsiveness, and control, making the kite feel more reactive in the waves. This refined shape improves drift and reduces wing tip drag, allowing for smoother power delivery and effortless down-the-line riding.

Rider Customization System

Fully customize the performance of the Fuse V1 with our Rider Customization System. RCS allows you to fine-tune the handling, power delivery, and performance of the Fuse to align with your riding style and conditions. Utilizing the RCS, a rider can incrementally shorten or lengthen the flying and power lines, which easily adjusts the Fuse turning speed, level of power, angle of attack, and bar pressure.

4X4 Canopy Tech

The strongest, stiffest, and most durable canopy material used in any kite. 4X4Canopy Tech is reinforced ripstop nylon with a 4X4 weave that delivers unrivaled tear resistance, near-zero stretch, and season-after-season durability.

High-Pressure Inflation

In 2025 we decided to move to a high-pressure valve, originally designed for the military to inflate their boats quickly, with the ability to deflate just as quickly. This gives the rider the most durable and fastest inflation and deflation system on the market. Inflation takes half as much effort and deflation takes half as much time.

We deliver our goods through Australia Post (Regular and Express Post), Aramex, and TNT - depending on your location and product being shipped. There are a number of factors that effect delivery times, however you can generally allow 1 - 5 business/working days (excludes week ends and public holidays) to receive your item if in Australia. Allow 7-15 days for international orders.
